ABOUT US
Originally from Australia and the UK, Grant and Lorna emigrated to Canada in 1999. After nearly 20 years in the suburbs, while not even looking to move, they stumbled across Stoneacre farm and fell in love.
This 94-acre property has a stunning mix of woodland, wetlands, and classic farmland. The 1880s stone farmhouse and barn are registered with the Puslinch Historical Society and add to the authentic charm of the property.
With a passion for being environmentally conscious, the farm is home to a number of working beehives, and in conjunction with the local conservation authority actively works hard to replace any fallen trees on the property with native species. Heading into a career in wildlife rehabilitation, Ashley plays an active role in helping to look after not only their numerous pets but also the variety of threatened species of wildlife that call the property home.
While an active farm, it is also a gorgeous location used for photography and filming. Daniel is a former wedding videographer who now works as a professional cinematographer. He has worked to get Stoneacre Farm listed on the “My Ontario Film Locations” and “Ontario Creates” databases for use in large-scale television and feature film work.
